Showman´s Tractor HENDRINA

This machine was delivered as steam tractor to Mr Frank Mann from Cardiff on May 1st, 1913 to be used for long distance haulage.
At the time the price was 500 pounds.
In 1937 it passed on to Montgomery County Council.
In 1942 they sold it to the local Corfields Contractors and was used by them until 1955.
It then landed in a scrap yard.
Being spotted there by Mr L.J. Lambe in 1964 it was rebuilt as a Showmans Engine.
He sold the machine in 1969 to Mr Henry Fry from Yeovil who christened it Henrietta. After being passed on to his son Allen it remained part of the family until 1987.
From then on owners and names changed quite frequently.
It finally found its way into the Netherlands where it was lovingly restored and named Hendrina in May 2000.
